AshlockTECH CDI Units

Introducing the AshlockTECH CDI units.  These feature all-new electronics with efficient high-speed power conversion that yields more than twice the spark energy at high rpms compared to the original Bosch design. These new AshlockTECH designs are cooler running with a subsequent increase in long-term reliability.  They are tolerant of voltage surges and accidental battery reversals. A soft rpm limit is included.  The tachometer output is capable of driving high or low voltage triggered tachs. A visible LED indication of power and trigger activity is included.  These new designs are compatible with standard points, points-eliminator modules and reluctor pickup distributors.

The SINGLE-PLUG unit is a direct form/fit/function replacement for your old 3 or 6-pin Bosch unit.  Modern, reliable electronics is installed in your old Bosch donor housing to maintain a desirable 'stock' appearance. An added convenience is that a 3-pin unit can be converted to 6-pin or vice-versa if desired.

A TWIN-PLUG version is also offered.  This new unit contains two independent CDI circuits and does all the work of synchronously firing TWO coils, each at full power. No need to run two separate CDI boxes!  Less expense and less space required. 

Units are build-to order.  But delivery time is quick because needed parts, and pre-built subassemblies are stocked. The customer typically contributes a standard Bosch "donor" 3 or 6-pin unit for conversion.  If the customer does not have a core, one can be provided at extra charge.
